Dear Future Me: Taleen Hanna
A Letter to my Future Self
Dear Future Taleen,
First off, take a second to breathe and smile. I have faith that you’ve learned to enjoy every moment of life more than you used to.
I’m hopeful that you have accomplished all your dreams– you have continued to care for and ride Ash in your adult life, got a press pass to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, or even went skydiving.
Don’t ever lose sight of why you do this. You have loved horses your entire life and you have a passion for storytelling. Remember how you directed, filmed, and edited videos with your friends as a kid? You had so much fun. I hope you’re still having that much fun doing what you love– combining your love for media and horses.
I’m sure it hasn’t all been easy, but know that you have grown because of every challenge and setback. Don’t feel bad to celebrate your wins– you deserve it!
You have always worked hard in everything that you do. Don’t forget to have some fun too! Stop and take a picture of something that makes you smile. Listen when others give you advice. Speak up when you are enthusiastic about something. Go to the barn when you need a reset.
And don’t forget to smile.
From,
Past Taleen
